Economic Development

Economic development is vibrant neighborhoods where small businesses thrive, residents access quality jobs and affordable housing, and infrastructure (transportation, broadband) supports daily life. It requires coordinated investment in workforce training and business incentives that attract firms while prioritizing equity and resilience, and strong partnerships among government, community groups, schools, and the private sector to align resources, track outcomes, and ensure inclusive, sustainable growth.

Grant Making

Using multiple avenues such as the foundation, nonprofits, government agencies, and other funders allocate financial resources to projects, organizations, or initiatives that advance public benefit goals. Its purpose is to enable activities that address social, economic, educational, environmental, or cultural needs that would not be fully met through markets or public funding alone.

Community Giveaways

Purpose Community giveaways are strategic events or programs that distribute goods, services, or resources directly to residents to address immediate needs, build trust, and strengthen social capital. When designed intentionally, giveaways can alleviate short-term hardship, connect people to long-term supports, and create opportunities for community engagement and data-informed program design.
